A Special Invitation:PASSOVER SEDER 2000Saturday, April 8 at 6:00 PM You are cordially invited to attend the first annual Sojourner Ministries’ Christ in the Passover Seder meal. We will be celebrating our seder on Saturday evening, April 8, 2000 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Northwest Bible Church in Dallas. There is no charge for this dinner and program. It is one way our ministry can give something back to you who have already given so much to us. (Of course, if you happen to insist, there will be opportunity to make donations to defray the cost of the meal.) We do ask, however, that you call to make a reservation for your party. Please invite guests whom you feel would enjoy exploring the Jewish heart of Christianity with us. Although there will be overlap with what Steven presents in person and on tape, this intimate evening will provide a chance to explore additional areas of our Lord’s Last Supper which Steven cannot usually cover. If you have never before participated in a Passover seder, if you’ve only seen Steven’s tape or live demonstration, or if it has been some time since you’ve been to a seder, then this evening is especially for you. Dallas Seminary Publishes Hanukkah ArticleWe are proud to announce that Steven’s article, The Undying Flame: A Portrait of Christ in Hanukkah, was recently published in the winter edition of Kindred Spirit magazine, Dallas Theological Seminary’s quarterly periodical. The article covers the same ground as our Hanukkah tape (see back page) andexamines the relationship between the winter holiday’s symbols and Jesus and demonstrates how He is the prophetic fulfillment of this festival. |
