Best of Israel Tour 2009
and
optional Rest of Israel with Jordan Extension
Please join me for a once in a lifetime experience!
Imagine yourself immersed in the living world of the Bible. When you accompany
me, you will experience the Holy Land through a Jewish
believer’s eyes as I personally teach, on location, the Biblical significance
of Israel’s essential sites! This
is a tour for those who not only desire to explore the Jewish heart of
Christianity but also want to explore the Jewish birthplace of their faith! The sites we visit will no longer be
places you have merely read about and imagined – they will be a part of you
forever.
Allow me the privilege of personally escorting
you through “my” Israel on this, my 13th
tour. Sail with me on the sea of Galilee; pray with me by the massive ancient
stones of the Western Wall, in the Garden of Gethsemane and in the Upper Room;
let us share communion together at the vacant Garden tomb; traverse with me the
narrow street called the Via Dolorosa; explore the tunnel far beneath the
Western Wall; enjoy a float on the Dead Sea, and so much more!
Our tour is scheduled for a strategic time of
the year, Feb. 19-Mar. 1. The cost is $3489
from Dallas, based upon double
occupancy. This price includes admissions, accommodations, transfers, driver,
guide, taxes and breakfast/dinner. There is an additional charge of $511 for
airport taxes and fuel surcharge and $99 for the all-inclusive tipping fund,
putting the final cost at a reasonable $3,999.
It excludes only lunches, one free evening dinner and souvenirs.
This tour will provide an array of
accommodations for a complete Israel experience. We will be
staying in wonderful hotels on Mt. Scopus in Jerusalem and on the shore of the
Dead
Sea.
We will also have the privilege of staying in one of Israel’s finest kibbutzim,
right on the gorgeous southern shore of the Sea of Galilee. What views – what
meals!
After seeing the Best of Israel, you may want to stay for the Rest of Israel and Jordan! The optional extension is a chance to
experience one more entire day in Jerusalem, seeing sites that are
usually excluded from most tour itineraries. Then your Biblical tour continues
on through Beersheba, the Negev Desert and the Red Sea (sea partings not
guaranteed). And what can I say concerning the incomparable jewel of the desert,
Petra, the stone-carved rose
city! The combined total for the Israel/Jordan tour is only $5,179 from Dallas, based on double
occupancy.
